We have good relations with Azerbaijan and have no complaints - Kalashnikov
Thanks to the cooperation and efforts of the presidents of both countries, the relations between Russia and Azerbaijan are at its high level and we have no right to complain. If there was no financial, economic crisis and decrease in the price of hydrocarbons, our cooperation would be better, Leonid Kalashnikov, the First Deputy Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on International Affairs told reporters prior the conference titled “Moscow-Baku axis”, AzVision.az reports.
We can reach a consensus on some problematic fields. I guess, it is because of the presidents’ wisdom. We understand that the economic crisis is transient, but the friendship of our nations is lasting, Kalashnikov stressed.

“When it comes to the progress of the Russian language in Azerbaijan, I always show your country as an example. Mehriban Aliyeva, VP of Azerbaijan shows a maximum effort in this issue. For instance, I have recently been to the school which was renovated by Mehriban Aliyeva’s support and she also attended the opening ceremony in. There are approximately 400 schools which were newly renovated by Mehriban Aliyeva’s support. Many people talk about this issue here. We have to note that the number of people speaks in Russian in Azerbaijan is more than other CIS states”.
