Kseniya Poznyak, Odina Bayramova, Olena Hasanova, Natalya Mammadova-Skazka, Kristina Yaqubova, Polina Rahimova and Valeriya Mammadova represent Azerbaijan in the starting match, which is taking place in the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku.
After the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Hungary were played, a judge’s whistle sounded to start the game.
Despite the fact that at the beginning of the first set, Azerbaijan’s national team was in the lead, Hungarian volleyball players managed to get ahead very soon. However, by demonstrated strong will and perseverance, the Azerbaijani volleyball players could win the set with a score of 25:23.
