1,818,000 tourists visited Azerbaijan in the eight months of 2017, said Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev.
According to him, over 46,000 people work in the tourism field: “I thank them. This day must be marked as a holiday in tourism enterprises. Azerbaijan is a stable, safe and hospitable country. Number of people leaving Azerbaijan makes up 4,000,000. This includes al visits. Azerbaijani citizen approximately spend $600 million in the foreign counties, but foreigner spend $700 million in Azerbaijan in a year”.
