The Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenia will be liberated sooner of later, Turkish Defense Minister Nurettin Canikli told reporters in Baku, AzVision.az reports.
“Azerbaijan’s strength is the strength of Turkey and Turkey’s strength is Azerbaijan’s. Azerbaijan and Turkey faced problems in purchasing weapons from foreign countries in the most difficult times,” Canikli said underscoring the need to unite efforts in defense industry.

In addition, Nurettin Canikli touched on the recent Kurdistan referendum: "The referendum throws the region and the whole world into the fire. It is not allowed to interfere ethnic and religious balance in the Middle East. None of any country's predictions was realized in this region up until now. The Middle East has own realities. The distance between Turkey and Iraq is only 350km, so Turkey cannot remain indifferent to the incidents happened there".
