Turkish Cabin Interior to supply equipment for new AZAL aircraft

Turkish Cabin Interior to supply equipment for new AZAL aircraft

Turkish Cabin Interior, a subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, will supply and install galleys in 10 new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft ordered by Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), Bilal Eksi, TCI head, tweeted Sept. 28.

He noted that TCI became a contractor for AZAL after fulfilling orders for such airlines as Jet Airways and SpiceJet.

In April, Silk Way Airlines, a subsidiary of AZAL, signed a $1 billion contract with the US aerospace company Boeing to purchase 10 Boeing 737 MAX passenger aircraft.

The first two aircraft of the newest generation will be delivered to Azerbaijan by the end of 2018 and the rest until the end of 2020.
