US Embassy opens Salyan American Corner
On Sept. 29, the US Embassy in Azerbaijan opened the Salyan American Corner, located in Salyan’s Central Library.
Head of Salyan District Executive Authority Sevindik Hatamov, Office Director for Caucasus Affairs and Regional Conflicts in the US Department of State’s Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs Alicia Allison and Public Affairs Officer of the US Embassy in Azerbaijan Caroline Savage were present at an opening ceremony, APA’s local bureau reported.

The US embassy presented relevant materials to the American Corner.

The American Corner Program, which includes a flagship Baku American Center at the Azerbaijan University of Languages and regional American Corners in Ganja, Kurdamir, Salyan and Khachmaz, is an excellent resource for Azerbaijanis looking to improve their English, access information about the United States, learn more about educational or exchange opportunities, or participate in innovative high-tech projects at the Maker Space. The corners offer lectures, conversation clubs, and a variety of other activities, as well as free internet and computer access for everyone in the community.
