Azerbaijan’s Consulate General in Los Angeles is checking whether Azerbaijani citizens are among victims and injured in the horrific bloody tragedy committed in Las Vegas Strip on Oct. 2, Hikmat Hajiyev, spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, told AzVision.az.
“We offer our deepest condolences to the families and close ones of those killed in the horrific bloody tragedy in Las Vegas, to the US government, and the entire people of America. We wish speedy recovery for the injured,” Hajiyev added.
More than 50 people were killed and over 400 injured when a gunman opened fire at people attending the opening of a music festival in Las Vegas. The gunman was killed in a shootout with the police.
