Azerbaijani, Uzbek emergency situations ministries sign action plan on cooperation
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov has today met with a delegation led by Minister of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan Rustam Juraev who is on a visit to the country, the ministry told reporters.
Mentioning that this is the first official visit of Rustam Juraev to Azerbaijan, Minister Heydarov expressed his confidence that the visit will significantly contribute to the development of bilateral relations in field of combating emergencies.

Speaking about the work done to prevent emergencies and eliminate their consequences in Azerbaijan, the minister stressed that the joint cooperation between the ministries of emergency situations of Uzbekistan and Uzbekistan can play an important role in the fight against emergencies.

Rustam Juraev, in turn, emphasized the importance of deepening the existing cooperation between relevant bodies of the two countries. He spoke about the prospects of the joint cooperation between the ministries of emergency situations of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in the sphere of emergency situations.

At the end, the ministers signed an action plan on cooperation between the ministries of emergency situations of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan for 2018-2019.
