Our stance remain unchanged over the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict - Azerbaijani President - UPDATED
Azerbaijan’s position remains unchanged over Armenia-Azerbaijan, the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Nagorno-Karabakh is our historical land and we must and will return back to those lands”, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to results of socio-economic development in nine months of 2017 and objectives for the future on October 9.
The territorial integrity of Azerbaijan has never been a topic for negotiations.

“We will never allow establishing the second Armenian country in our lands and the restoration of territorial integrity of Azerbaijan is our primary mission. We have not observed any significant improvement in the negotiation process. Armenia tried to disrupt negotiations using different excuses. In addition, Armenian stipulated a number of conditions to prevent the restoration of the negotiations. I have stated that none of conditions will be accepted. The life and reality one more time prove that our analysis and policy reflect the reality”, the president added.
