'Sometimes there are delays in execution of actions relating to Strategic Road Maps'

“The execution of the Strategic Road Maps is being monitored. The results show that sometimes there are delays in the execution of actions. This should be avoided,” Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to results of socio-economic development in the nine months of 2017 and objectives for the future.
"All government agencies have been assigned with duties. Every state agency knows what it has to do. Therefore, the implementation of Strategic Road Maps in some institutions is 50 per cent, 70 per cent, but it others it is 10 or 15 per cent. I give instructions that the agencies soon make a return in their work. In general, the adoption and announcement of Strategic Road Maps is a very serious reform that includes 164 priorities and 683 actions. All of them should be resolved by 2020. Therefore, the results of the monitoring on this issue should be analyzed and the defective institutions should make corrections as soon as possible. I will be informed regularly in this regard," he said.
