"Uzbekistan supports Azerbaijan`s just position in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict"
Uzbekistan supports Azerbaijan`s just position in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, said President Shavkat Mirziyoyev as he received Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade.
The meeting was also joined by chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Mubariz Gurbanli, president of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Akif Alizade, Head of Turkey's Directorate of Religious Affairs Ali Erbash.

Mr. Pashazade informed the President about the international conference held on Islamic solidarity and Uzbek-Azerbaijani friendship in Tashkent.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said President Ilham Aliyev`s declaring 2017 as a Year of Islamic Solidarity is an important step. The President also emphasized the significance of further expansion of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
