Azerbaijan and Turkish Presidents will build their future plans in Baku - Ambassador
Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Ankara Khazar Ibrahim assessed the visit of Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Baku.
According to the ambassador, today the Turkish President will attend the opening ceremony of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway. “This railway will connect China and London,” Ibrahim said.

The diplomat said that tomorrow the next meeting of the Azerbaijan-Turkey High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council will be held with the participation of the Presidents of both countries.

“Turkey is a fraternal country and strategic partner of Azerbaijan, and we rely on our brother country. Cooperation between our countries is dynamically developing. At the next meeting of the High Level Strategic Cooperation Council, issues and projects of global importance will be discussed. According to the discussions, the presidents will build their future plans,” the ambassador noted.

Referring the economic cooperation, the diplomat said that the trade turnover between the leader of South Caucasus and the country with the largest economies in the Middle East and Southeast Europe is increasing. “As a result, new regional realities are emerging,” he said.

Regarding cooperation in the military field, Ibrahim said that enhancing cooperation between Turkey, which has one of the world’s most powerful army and Azerbaijan, which possesses the most modern army in the region, contributes to security in the area from the Black Sea to the Caspian Sea.
