BTK project to create favorable conditions for transport of goods from China to Europe, says Kazakh PM
The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway project will boost Kazakhstan’s logistic capabilities in the Caspian Sea and create favorable conditions for transportation of goods from China to Europe, said Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev.
“Thanks to this project, the speed of cargo transportation will double,” Sagintayev said addressing the BTK railway solemn opening ceremony in Baku on Monday, APA reported

He noted that the BTK project will contribute to peace and stability in the South Caucasus.

“The container from China is delivered to Azerbaijan through the port of Kazakhstan and the Caspian Sea, and this cargo will be transported from Azerbaijan today,” added the Kazakh PM added.
