Washington to share information with Moscow on threat of terrorist attacks in Russia
The United States will inform Russia on threat of terrorist attacks on its territory, Nicholas Rasmussen, the head of the US National Counterterrorism Center said, AzVision.az reports citing the Russian Media.
"First of all, I want to say that if we have information about a terrorist threat that could affect another country, not only our partners, but any country in the world, we will share it. We take this very seriously,"added Rasmussen, speaking at the Carnegie Center in Washington.

At the same time, he noted that it is impossible to maintain daily contacts with Russian counterparts in the fight against terrorism, as the US does with many other countries.

"Under current situation, it is impossible. However, certainly there are areas of mutual interest that we can identify and work on them together," Rasmussen noted, commenting that such cooperation is taking place in preparation for the World Cup in Russia, which will be held in Russia in 2018.
