Number of injured and arrested during Ankara`s protests revealed
Ankara`s governorship has informed about the number of injured and arrested during protests in the capital of Turkey, Hurriyet newspaper said today.

According to the data, some 381 people, including 133 policemen were injured during the protests from May 31 up to now. Around 944 people were detained during the riots.
According to the information, one person died as a result of his injuries. Four injured people are still being treated in hospitals.
Protests have been continuing in Turkey for more than 20 days. According to the authorities, they are anti-government.

Turkey`s opposition parties accuse the police of using excessive force against protesters.

Earlier, Turkish Interior Minister said an investigation is underway in connection with the use of excessive force against protesters.
