PACE Winter Session to kick off

Today, on January 22, PACE Winter Session will kick off in Strasbourg, which will last until January 26, AzVision.az reports.

An Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation led by Samad Seyidov, chairman of the parliament’s Committee on international and inter-parliamentary relations travelled to Strasbourg to attend the winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).

The Azerbaijani delegation includes MPs Rafael Huseynov, Sahiba Gafarova, Sevinj Fataliyeva, Ganira Pashayeva, Ulviyya Aghayeva, Sabir Hajiyev, Elshad Hasanov, Vusal Huseynov, Fazil Mustafa, Asim Mollazade and Rovshan Rzayev

The Assembly is also due to elect its President and a new Commissioner for Human Rights during the winter session which is due to take place from 22 to 26 January. A progress report of the Bureau and the Standing Committee will be presented.
