Mr Heydarov noted that the MES is closely cooperating with UNICEF’s Baku office and implementing a number of important projects, the ministry told.
He added that the first European Games which Azerbaijan will host is a significant event in the country’s history, and that the ministry is carrying out a series of large-scale technical and security measures as preparation for this event.
Ms. Marie-Pierre Poirier said the Baku visit of the delegation that she leads coincides the eve of the Novruz holiday and a remarkable event upcoming – the first European Games, adding that UNICEF is willing to continue cooperating with Azerbaijan and the MES on related areas.
