North and South Korea set date for face-to-face talks

The leaders of North and South Korea have agreed to meet face-to-face on 27 April in the hope of putting an end to diplomatic tensions, the Independent reported.

The talks between Kim Jong-un and Moon Jae-in come after months of bitter dispute between the neighbouring states over the former's refusal to abandon nuclear testing in the face of international sanctions.
