Erdogan holds telephone conversations with Putin and Macron

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held telephone conversations with the presidents of Russia and France Vladimir Putin and Emmanuel Macron, Turkish media reports.

During the talks, missile strikes of the United States, Britain and France on Syria were discussed.

During the talks Erdogan noted the inadmissibility of using both chemical weapons and conventional weapons against the peaceful population of the country. The President of Turkey also stressed the inadmissibility of even greater destabilization in the region.

The United States, Great Britain and France hit rocket attacks on Syrian government sites Saturday morning, which they believe are used to produce chemical weapons. More than 100 missiles were fired on Syria, most of which were shot down by Syrian air defense.
