Terrorist attack in Northern Syria kills three, injures dozens - Reports

As of now, no terrorist group in the country has claimed responsibility for the attack. A car bomb has exploded in the northern Syrian city of Azaz, located 20 miles north-northwest of Aleppo, claiming the lives of three people, Sky News Arabia reported on Saturday.

Azaz was captured by Daesh in October 2013; however, militants of the Free Syrian Army took the city in February 2014. Currently, Azaz is controlled by the Free Syrian Army, which also opposes the Syrian government in Damascus.

The situation in the region remains tense, as the Syrian government has liberated the southern regions of the country, while the north, particularly in Idlib province, continues to be a stronghold of insurgency against Damascus.
