An Afghan military helicopter crashed on Saturday in eastern Parwan province, Xinhua reported ciitng local media outlet 1TV.
Citing Wahidi Shahkar, a spokesman for Parwan provincial government, the media said the incident happened in Koh-e-Safi district of Parwan province around 02:00 a.m. local time, and "eight Afghan forces were killed or injured."
Defense ministry officials have yet to make comment on the report.
