OPEC ministerial meeting postponed

OPEC ministerial meeting postponed

The regular ministerial meeting of OPEC has been moved from December 3 to December 6, as before, it will be held in the capital of Austria, Vienna, the organization said in a statement, PRIME reported Oct. 1.

In addition, it was noted that the ministerial meeting of all countries that are parties to the OPEC+ agreement has also been moved from December 4 to December 7.

OPEC and a number of non-OPEC countries (OPEC+) agreed at the end of 2016 in Vienna to reduce oil production by 1.8 million barrels per day.

The agreement came into force from the beginning of 2017 and was extended until the end of 2018.
