"The parties discussed ways to enhance CIS security agencies’ cooperation in countering modern threats. They emphasized the need to boost cooperation in the fight against terrorism and organized transnational crime, as well as in the field of cyber security," TASS cited the statement as saying.
According to the Kazakh National Security Committee, the heads of security agencies of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan also shared experience in ensuring security during big international events.
