"Azerbaijan, Iran reached agreement on cooperation in several areas"
"Azerbaijan and Iran reached agreement on cooperation in several areas", said the Iranian Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare Ali Rabiei, at the press conference on the results of his visit to Azerbaijan.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov noted that the delegation led by Ali Rabiei held a number of important meetings in the country.

Emphasizing the historical, religious and cultural ties between the two countries A.Rabiei said that Azerbaijan and Iran have strong relations and Azerbaijan is fraternal and important partner for Iran.

“We always support Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity. This position will continue in the future. Liberation of the occupied lands of Azerbaijan is also very important for us and we want the solution to this conflict as soon as possible”, the Iranian minister added.

Mr. Ali Rabiei said that, the relations between the two countries are on a new stage of development by the will of the presidents. He also stressed the potential for further expanding cooperation in many areas between Azerbaijan and Iran.

According to the Iranian Minister, in the meetings, the sides had comprehensive exchange of views on expansion of cooperation in economy, as well as oil, gas, trade, customs, tourism, investment areas. The Iranian Minister also stressed agreements on cooperation in the fields of treatment and rehabilitation of persons with disabilities, development of human resource, vocational training.
