"Nasimi and Nizami exhibitions - positive development of Russia-Azerbaijan relations"

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova described the series of event in MGIMO and MSU, dedicated to Azerbaijani poet Imadaddin Nasimi, and the 'Seven beauties' exhibition at the All-Russian Museum of Decorative Art, based on the poem of the Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi, as positive developments in the Russia-Azerbaijan humanitarian cooperation.

"We regard these events as positive development of bilateral cultural relations," Maria Zakharova told Vestnik Kavkaza, AzVision.az reports.

The bust of Imadaddin Nasimi was unveiled at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) on November 19. The ceremony was held as part of the Nasimi Festival of Poetry, Arts, and Spirituality,organised by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation on November 19-20.

The 'Seven beauties' exhibition was opened at the All-Russian Museum of Decorative Art in Moscow on November 21. The exhibition was organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Azerbaijan's Ministry of culture and the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum.
