Man claims as Coin Young Master airdrops lots of money on the street of Hong Kong

A 24-year old man is reported to toss money from the top of a building in Hong Kong yesterday and triggered a mass hysteria of the passers-by.

The man, identified as Wong Ching Kit aka Mr. Coin aka Coin Young Master is the owner of a Facebook page that promotes cryptocurrency and miner, Epoch Cryptocurrency. He's said to make his fortune during the crypto bull end of last year.

While tossing the money, he was shouting, “Today, December 15, is FCC’s big day in announcing the trading race. I hope everyone here will pay attention to this important event… [I] don’t know whether any of you will believe money can fall from the sky.”

While it’s still unclear what he referred as FCC in his “speech”, Asia Crypto Today reported that Wong thinks of himself as similar to Robinhood as he’s also “robbing the rich to help the poor”, without explaining his statement further.

Moreover, the Coin Young Master also said that he feels "responsible" to teach the world about Bitcoin as he feels he is god.

The action triggered a mass hysteria as passers-by were trying to catch the HKD100 bills that were flying in the air.

Those who happened to be on the location said the amount of money thrown away might be millions, however, the police reported to only manage to collect around HKD 5,000 or around $639 from the street as of yesterday.

Various responses are shown on Twitter, with most of them don’t show disagreement as it was considered more as “crypto education” to the public, which hopefully would bring more people to crypto.

That said, there’s a Twitter user who alleged Wong as pump and dump artist as his action was said to be related to Filecoin promotion.
