3 killed, 55 injured in 2 bus accidents in Turkey

At least 3 people died and 55 were injured on Wednesday in two separate bus accidents in central Turkey's Kırşehir and near Turkish capital Ankara, Daily Sabah reports.

In Kırşehir, 3 people died, including a child and 35 were injured after a bus swerved off the road and rolled over due to heavy snowfall.

Kırşehir Governor İbrahim Akın said 6 of the injured were in critical condition. Akın offered his condolonces to those who passed away.

Similarly, another bus swerved off and rolled over near Turkish capital Ankara, injuring 20 people. No casualties were reported.

Emergency services were dispatched to both scenes and the injured were taken to nearby hospitals.
