The Armenian government has reached an agreement with Gazprom Armenia that the gas tariff for consumers of Armenia will not be increased in 2019, PM Nikol Pashinyan said in an interview with the Russian RBK TV.

“We will continue discussions during this year in order to reach an agreement in the gas price issue,” Pashinyan said.

Asked on the possibility of the tariff being increased a year later, Pashinyan said: “And why do you think that way? I hope that on the contrary it will drop”.
