Lieke Wevers took the first step to Baku 2015
Wevers earned an all-around score of 54.883 at the Dutch Artistic Gymnastics national qualifier in Amsterdam. She finished ahead of Lisa Top, who had 53.133 points while C?
The Oldenzaal native Wevers notched the top score on the Balance Beam (13.800) and Floor (14.033). She was second on the Uneven Bars and fifth on the Vault. Top earned the best score on the Vault while van Gerner topped the Uneven Bars.

The Amsterdam event was the first of two qualifiers for the Dutch Baku 2015 team. The second qualifier will take place on 30 April. Wevers is competing with van Gerner, Top, Lieke Vera van Pol, Maartje Ruikes, Dana de Groot and Tisha Volleman for the Netherlands` three women`s spots at Baku 2015.

"1st place at European Games trials, with an all-around score of (54.883)! I`m happy with this result, and I really enjoyed this competition. Now relaxing and enjoying this moment, tomorrow my focus will be on Thursday, which is the 2nd trial. Important to show this performance again!!" Wevers posted on the social media service Instagram.
