If the US Secretary of State John Kerry, going against his country
He was commenting on the information that Kerry is leading an anti-Azerbaijan campaign.

Huseynli said Kerry has pro-Armenian views, but for him the interests of the United States should be paramount.

“And the interests of the US demand developing relations with Azerbaijan – the most developed country in the Southern Caucasus, because Azerbaijan is one of the main energy sources and energy corridors of the world,” he said.

The political analyst went on to add that the development of relations with Azerbaijan, which fulfils the function of an energy source and an energy corridor, is very important for the US and the West.

He noted that many influential US print media repeatedly published articles about the strategic importance of Azerbaijan, and those articles recommended the US president’s administration to more develop strategic cooperation with Azerbaijan.

“If in such a situation, John Kerry is involved in the anti-Azerbaijan campaign, it doesn’t make him a man of such high position as the secretary of state,” said Huseynli.

A recent investigation revealed that the anti-Azerbaijan campaign is being carried out from the office of the US secretary of state, John Kerry in the Congress.

The holding of the said campaign was instructed to the National Endowment for Democracy (NED). This organization, funded from the budget of the US, has been for many years trying to form in Azerbaijan a “fifth column”.

The NED has been sending, from sources in the West, millions of dollars to some NGOs and media structures in Azerbaijan.
