Another Georgian minister resigns
Georgian Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Levan Kipiani has resigned from post. The information became known as part of the special briefing held at the ministry, Georgia
The minister made the statement about resignation himself. Kipiani briefly talked about the work carried out by ministry during his duty-term and thanked his team for cooperation.

Reports were circulating about resignation of Kipiani in the media on April 28. According to “First Radio,” consultations were held last night in the governmental team regarding Kipiani.

Kipiani has held the post of Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs since 2012. He was presented on post by former Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili.

During the week, Minister for Regional Development and Infrastructure Davit Shavliashvili and Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Protection Elgudja Khokrishvili left their posts.
