EU to apply new visa rules for Azerbaijani nationals

EU to apply new visa rules for Azerbaijani nationals

On 23 June 2015, the European Union will start applying new rules of visa for citizens of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine, requiring only fingertips and digital photographs, AzVision.az reported citing Russian media.

The European Union’s Visa Information System (VIS), which is to be introduced in the near future, is a centralized database for exchange of information on short-term visas in Schengen countries. Biographic data in the database will be stored for 59 months.
