Carrying out the president’s instructions, 13 Azerbaijani nationals and four Georgian nationals were evacuated on the same plane from the disaster area to Baku.

An earthquake measuring 7.9 occurred on April 25, in Nepal. The first tremors were followed by several aftershocks. The earthquake’s epicenter was located 82 kilometers northwest of the capital Kathmandu.

On April 26, Nepal was again shaken by a series of aftershocks. The magnitude of the most powerful of them was 6.7.

The number of the victims of the earthquake in Nepal exceeds 5,000.
