There is not any conception of`the people of Nagorno Karabakh`. Nagorno-Karabakh region is a part of Azerbaijan and it has population comprising both Azerbaijanis and few Armenians.
`Usage of the “people of Nagorno Karabakh” expression in the statements is wrong and unacceptable. OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs and U.S. Department of State must take this point into consideration while making any statement regarding “parliamentary elections” to be held in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan,` Spokesman for Foreign Ministry Hikmet Hajiyev told.
This fact should be clearly reflected and recognized,” he said.
Note: To hold parliamentary elections in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan is illegal.
