50th meeting of ADB Board of Governors to be held in Japan
It was proposed to hold the 50th meeting May 6-8 in 2017 in Yokohama during the first working session within the framework of the 48th meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank in Baku.
The proposal was put to voting and adopted by a majority of votes.

The 49th meeting will be held in Frankfurt.

The ADB was established in 1966, it has 67 members. Its headquarters is located in the capital of the Philippines - Manila.

Azerbaijan joined the ADB on December 22, 1999, the country’s share in the bank’s capital is 0.5 percent.

ADB’s leading shareholders are Japan and the US (31.2 percent of the total share capita
