Azerbaijani president receives delegation led by Japanese Deputy PM
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by Japanese Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Taro Aso on May 4.

The parties highlighted the significance of holding the Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank in Baku. It was noted that Azerbaijan achieved great economic development thanks to successful policy carried out in the country. The importance of the organization of the inaugural European Games in Azerbaijan was emphasized, and modern conditions for holding high-profile international events in Azerbaijan were praised.

The sides expressed satisfaction with the high level of Azerbaijani-Japanese relations, and discussed the issues related to the development of the bilateral ties in political, economic, ICT, tourism, humanitarian and other fields.
