The delegation led by Inam Karimov, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan, is on a visit to Berlin.

ASAN Service center told, the delegation of the State Agency held meetings with member of German Bundestag, deputy head of the German delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Jurgen Klimke, head of the German delegation to PACE Axel Fischer, representatives of Germany`s Federal Ministries of Foreign and Internal Affairs and German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), as well as chair of the parliamentary friendship group for relations with the states in the Southern Caucasus Ms. Karin Strenz and other members of the group during the visit.

Chairman of the State Agency Inam Karimov gave information about recent reforms carried out by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in upgrading and modernization of public administration.

The agency chairman gave an extensive presentation of the successful activity of ASAN Service, which is part of the reforms, as well as other electron government measures taken in Azerbaijan, outlining advantages of ASAN Service as a successful and exemplary model in terms of its judicial-formal properties and efficiency in provision of public services and noting that about 5 million citizens who had visited the centers over the last two years were pleased with services provided to them.

German officials stressed at the meetings the fact that the conception of ASAN Service in provision of public services is an exemplary model and that it is necessary to apply this experience in other countries, too.

Azerbaijani ambassador to Germany Parviz Shahbazov spoke of the dynamic development of Azerbaijan-Germany cooperation and the contribution ASAN Service has made to this cooperation. Mustafa Gurbanli, chief of the international relations department of the Council of State Support to NGOs under the Auspices of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, spoke about the development of civic society in our country, the role of state support in this area and its activities on an international scale.

The visit of the delegation is on within the participation in the Congress on the subject “18th Efficient Management 2015”.
