President Aliyev receives delegation led by Croatian deputy prime minister -  UPDATED

On April 29, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia Marija Pejčinović Burić, AzVision.az reports citing the Azerbaijani presidential press-service.

Within the framework of her visit, the minister will participate in Azerbaijan-Croatia business forum. Later, she is expected to attend the official opening ceremony of the Croatian embassy in Baku

Recalling his successful state visit to Croatia, Ilham Aliyev said the negotiations and discussions were productive and this visit will make contributions to the bilateral relations between the two countries. 

President Aliyev expressed his confidence over the expansion of relations between Azerbaijan and Croatia emphasizing cooperation in different fields. Aliyev expressed his hope Marija Pejčinović Burić's visit to Azerbaijan will contribute to the strengthening of bilateral relations. 

Burić delivered Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković's greetings to Ilham Aliyev. Then she highlighted Ilham Aliyev's visit to Croatia was very successful and productive discussions were held to further strengthen Azerbaijan-Croatia ties. 

President Ilham Aliyev thanked for Croatian PM Andrej Plenković's greetings and asked Burić to extend his greetings to Croatian PM.
