AJW Aviation to carry out rebranding of Azerbaijan Airline
AJW Aviation, the world`s leading independent complete aircraft spares support specialist, has been contracted to carry out the rebranding of Azerbaijan Airline`s entire fleet by late 2013, the company said today.
The fleet of eighteen aircraft includes A319, A320, B757 and B767, all of which are to undergo rebranding by the end of 2013 to meet the airline`s operational deadline. AJW has selected Eirtech Aviation to carry out the painting of the aircraft.
"We are pleased to continue our long standing relationship with Azerbaijan Airlines," Deepak Sharma, Technical Director of AJW Group, said.
Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) has selected UK A J Walter Aviation (AJW) and British Airways Engineering for providing power-by-the-hour component support for its new fleet of Boeing 787 aircraft which will commence flight operations in 2014. AJW and British Airways Engineering will provide extensive component supply, inventory management and repair services.
Azerbaijan Airlines has an order to purchase two Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. The cost of each is $90 million. The country will be the first in Central Asia to receive these aircraft.
