Germany appoints new ambassador to Azerbaijan
The President of the Federal Republic of Germany has appointed a new ambassador to Azerbaijan, Spokesperson for the German Embassy in Azerbaijan Aytekin Maharramova said.
Newly-appointed Heidrun Tempel had previously worked as a Special Representative for Dialogue between Cultures at the German Foreign Office, also worked in Brussels and Jakarta.

The newly appointed Ambassador shared her views about Azerbaijan: “Azerbaijan is a beautiful country distinguished for its special hospitality and tolerance. I am very satisfied with my new post. My goal is to bring Azerbaijan and Germany closer and deepen our close economic and cultural ties.”
