  Azerbaijan receives observer status at Pacific Alliance

Azerbaijan has got an observer status at the next meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Pacific Alliance, AzVision.az reports citing the press service of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting was held in Mexico City on May 10.

Azerbaijan attaches special importance to cooperation with Latin American countries in its foreign policy and actively cooperates with existing organizations and economic units in the region.

The Pacific Alliance (PA), that was established in June 2012, is an initiative of trade bloc comprised by Chile, Colombia, Peru and Mexico 

There are currently 57 observer members of the Pacific Alliance, including Azerbaijan.
