 President Ilham Aliyev receives Belarus deputy PM-UPDATED

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received the delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Igor Lyashenko.

 

 

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Igor Lyashenko's visit to Azerbaijan will open new opportunities for the discussion of prospects of bilateral relations between the two countries. President Aliyev expressed his satisfaction with the participation of Belarus in the 13th Azerbaijan International Agricultural Exhibition. Aliyev also highlighted that Azerbaijani customers are satisfied with the quality of Belarus's agricultural products and the opening of Azerbaijan Trade House in Belarus is an indicator of the successful cooperation in this field. 

Igor Lyashenko thanked Ilham Aliyev for his kind words and noted that Belarus's active participation in the 13th Azerbaijan International Agricultural Exhibition is a result of Ilham Aliyev's attention to the cooperation between the two countries. Lyashenko also mentioned the successful implementation of the joint projects under the instruction of the president of Azerbaijan and Belarus. 

The sides also discussed prospects of relations in the field of machinery and automotive industry and the expansion of cooperation in exporting Azerbaijani products, particularly tobacco and wine.
