Drone spots odd geometric shapes swarming in South Pacific - VIDEO

Mesmeric square-like shapes were spotted moving in formation in the waters off Australia’s Bondi Beach early Friday by an overhead drone.

As the camera follows the group traveling slowly but steadily along the coast, it zooms in to reveal what really lies beneath: a huge school of cownose rays, swimming almost in unison.

The incredible footage was captured from the skies by the Shark Drone App team, who provide a live streaming service for surfers, and monitor the waters near popular beaches for predatory sharks.
