Nazarbayev: Iran, Azerbaijan, India and Mongolia may cooperate with EEU
Iran, Azerbaijan, India and Mongolia consider possible cooperation with the Eurasian Union, while Turkey has expressed willingness to sign a trade deal with the Union, Kazakhstan`s President Nursultan Nazarbayev said during the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Moscow..

Turkey may become the potential partner at this stage, he said, adding that Turkey`s President Erdogan expressed his wish to conclude a trade agreement with the Eurasian Union, but “it must be studied”.

He noted that the Iranian Foreign Minister, who visited Kazakhstan, has also expressed his interest in the prospects of cooperation with the Eurasian Union.

“There are others, for example, India, Mongolia, Azerbaijan. We need to consider this,” he emphasized.
