Armenian armed forces violated ceasefire with Azerbaijan 62 times in various directions along the frontline throughout the day, the Defense Ministry said on May 9.
Armenians fired on the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces located in the nameless uplands of Gazakh district from their positions located in Vazashen village of Armenia’s Ijevan district.
Armenians also fired on Azerbaijani positions from the positions located in Alibeyli, Agdam and Kokhanebi villages of Tovuz district from the positions located in Aygepar, Mosesgekh and Chinari villages of Berd district.
Furthermore, Azerbaijani positions underwent fire from the positions located near Tapgaragoyunlu village of Goranboy, Yarimja, Chilaburt, Goyarkh and Giziloba villages of Terter, Shuraabad, Shikhlar, Yusifjanli, Kengerli, Garagashli, Bash Gervend villages of Agdam, Horadiz, Garakhanbeyli and Ashagi Seyidahmadli villages of Fuzuli, Mehdili village of Jabrayil, and nameless uplands of Goranboy, Khojavand, Fuzuli and Jabrayil districts.
The enemy was silenced by retaliatory fire.
