Holy month of Ramadan has begun on May 6.
Eid al-Fitr prayer (first day of the month of Shawwal) will fall to the June 5 due to the view of Moon’s horizons in our lands. June 5-6 is celebrated as a holiday in Azerbaijan.
The Eid al-Fitr prayer (End of Ramadan) will be performed on June 5 at 08:00 am in Ajdarbey mosque and at 09:00 in Tezepir mosque in Azerbaijan.
Gazi Council of Caucasus Muslims Office recommends paying “zakat al fitr” in the amount of 5-10 manats.
