Ministry: One of obstacles for realization of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars project eliminated

An opening of big tunnel constructed within the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars project on the border between Georgia and Turkey has been held today, said the Deputy Minister of Transport Musa Panahov.

According to him, length of the tunnel makes 4.5 km.

“This tunnel was an only barrier preventing connection of railways on the border. Now, works on construction of railways are underway there”, the deputy minister said.
