Azerbaijani acrobats secure nation's first medal at Minsk 2019

Azerbaijani acrobats secure nation

Azerbaijani mixed pair of Abdulla Al-Mashayki and Ruhidil Gurbanli have won the country`s first medal at the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus, after they bagged silver in acrobatic gymnastics.

They finished 2nd in the combined exercise with 28,830 points.

Russian gymnasts Kirill Startsev and Victoria Aksenova won gold medal, while Belarus duo Artur Belyakov and Olga Melnik grabbed bronze.
