Mammadyarov congratulated the diplomat on her appointment and wished successes in her future activities.
They praised development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Germany.
Mammadyarov expressed confidence that new ambassador would contribute to developing the relations between the two countries even more.
The ambassador handed over a copy of credentials to Elmar Mammadyarov. Tempel said Germany was interested in continuation of the dialogue with Azerbaijan.
Heidrun Tempel noted she would spare no efforts to contribute to expanding the Azerbaijan-Germany relations.
