First deputy speaker of Azerbaijan`s parliament meets with PACE co-rapporteur

First Deputy Speaker of Azerbaijan`s Parliament Ziyafat Asgarov has met with co-rapporteur of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Stefan Schennach.

Asgarov said Azerbaijan`s parliament attaches great importance to strengthening relations with PACE.

They discussed energy projects of which Azerbaijan is the lynchpin.

They also exchanged views over the issues of democracy, human right and freedoms, and regional conflicts.
